Toyota topped the list this week with two of the five most popularly searched cars in the AutoGuide.com new cars section.
Those two? The 2013 Corolla came in first followed into a close second place by the 2013 Camry. Despite neither of the two cars being all-new for the 2013 model year, they remained popular searches. That really shouldn’t be a surprise, though. The Camry is, after all, the best-selling car in America.
Tastes were well in line with the crowd this week as the third-most searched vehicle was the 2013 Ford F-150. Never mind its turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine that’s gathered so much praise, there’s no getting past the fact that Ford sold 645,316 F-Series pickups last year. It’s popular? You don’t say.
Then there was the 2013 Honda CR-V, a crowd favorite in the small utility vehicle market, which carried over from 2012 untouched apart from a $200 price increase.
Finally, the 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan rounded off the list. It also remained more-or-less the same as last year’s model, but gained an optional Blu-Ray player.
