Along with all the high-quality, customized vehicles that the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon has to offer, another thing is guaranteed each year at Japan’s largest aftermarket expo – wonderful and strange creations.

While we won’t call them the worst cars of the show, or even the ugliest, they are undoubtedly the strangest. Perhaps everything’s just lost in translation, but we can’t help but believe the first thing to pop up in many people’s heads when they see these creations is “WTF?”

Our personal favorite is probably the Buggy Chevrolet Camaro seen above, which features 285/60/18 Dune Grappler tires and running the original suspension. If it sported 24s and chrome, we’d probably call it a donk; but out in Japan, we’re just a little bit confused.

And then there’s the obligatory bling-wrapped cars from D.A.D and a pair of Mazda RX-7s that looks like Fast and the Furious and Transformers got together to make car babies… really strange car babies. Oh, and Knight Rider made an appearance… in Japan.
