One of the most beautiful cars on the road today is set to get a hard-core makeover for the Geneva Motor Show.

To be unveiled next week is an updated version of the GranTurismo MC Stradale, Maserati’s racing-inspired version of the grand touring street car.

Designed after the cars from the Maserati Trofeo Championship racing series, unlike the original MC Stradale, this car will not remove the rear seats meaning it will seat four. Style is taken to the next level thanks to a carbon fiber hood with a center air intake, plus two rear extractors, while large 20-inch forged alloy wheels sit at each corner.

Under the hood is the brand’s latest 4.7-liter V8 engine making 460 hp, mated to a sequential 6-speed automatic transmission for quick shifts and enabling a top speed of 188 mph. And while it may be track focused, Maserati boasts that the new 4.7-liter engine is also more efficient, meaning fewer emissions.
