Toyota just announced special edition models of the Corolla LE and S in an effort to keep pushing the compact out as it ages next to other products.
While the Corolla hasn’t ever had a hard time selling, it is growing old next to competing cars like the Civic and Sentra. The Furia concept was brought to the L.A. Auto Show to preview the next generation of the car, and during that presentation, Toyota said the sport trimmed Corolla sales outpaced other trims.
In the LE trim, the special edition Corolla comes with standard 16-inch alloy wheels and navigation. You also get heated, power adjustable leather-trimmed beige seats, special floor mats, badges and dark purple paint.
The “sportier” S trim comes with 17-inch alloys, fabric seats, navigation and the “Hot Lava” paint you see here.
