That Porsche Cayman is going to be nervously checking its rear-view mirror later this year, with the lightweight Alfa Romeo 4C finally arriving.
Weighing just 2,100 lbs the 4C is sure to be a blast, even if it has just 240 hp on tap. Its 1.8L turbocharged four-cylinder engine helps the 4C zoom to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, and reach a top speed of 155 mph.

The limited, launch edition 4Cs were on display at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, and will be available in either Carrara White or Alfa Red. Along with the cool paint scheme, launch editions get a carbon fiber body kit, spoiler and mirror covers. The rear aluminum diffuser features a dark finish, while the Bi-LED headlights will also get a dark surround.
Those who pony up to get a Launch Edition 4C also have get to go to an exclusive event in Italy, which includes advanced driving training from professional driver-instructors. The mid-engined, rear-wheel drive 4C is expected to cost at least $60,000 in the US, making it a perfect rival for the Porsche Cayman.
