Ferrari, McLaren and Lamborghini may all be showcasing wild and crazy supercars at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, but if you’re an automotive purist, there’s no need to look any further than these first photos of the 2014 Porsche GT3.

Details have yet to be announced, though look for a 3.8-liter naturally aspirated flat-six making 450-hp.

One shocking feature has been revealed by the photos, however; the lack of a manual transmission. In its place is a version of the brand’s 7-speed dual-clutch PDK – something that is certain to offend the brand’s purist followers.

The ultimate track-ready sports car (or street legal race car, depending on how you look at it), the GT3 should lay some some impressive lap times. After all, Porsche claims that the current Carrera S with the Sport Chrono package can run the Nurburgring as fast as the previous generation GT3. How much faster will the 991 GT3 be? We should soon find out.

Can someone tell me if these photos are fake?  It’s definitely photoshopped, but I can’t tell if they’re computer generated, and I’m sick of CG “photos” of cars.  Beautiful model though, regardless.

They’re almost certainly real, but yes, definitely heavily processed.
