The first Ferrari F12 Berlinetta to hit American soil has been delivered to its owner, Larry Roth, who won the Hurricane Sandy Auction late last year.
Roth won the F12 Berlinetta with a bid of $1.125 million during the auction at the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas on November 17, 2012. It’s no surprise that the vehicle sold for nearly four times its $315,888 retail price.
The beautiful Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is powered by a V12 engine with 730 hp and replaces the 599 Fiorano. It’s smaller, lighter than the Fiorano thanks to its all-new lightweight alloy space-frame chassis and suspension. The exotic won’t go on sale until the second quarter of 2013, leaving Roth to enjoy a few months of exclusivity.
