California is home to the most green car shoppers in the nation, with eight of the top 10 cities actually located on the west coast.

The San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose area was the top city amongst car shoppers interested in hybrids and electric vehicles while the Monterey and Salinas area was second. Third place was San Diego in Southern California while Portland, Oregon was in fourth. Fifth place was in Eureka, California and the Nation’s Capital was in sixth.

In seventh place is Honolulu, Hawaii while eighth place is (surprisingly) Lima, Ohio. Finishing the list is Medford and Klamath Falls in Oregon while 10th went to the Sacramento/Stockton/Modesto area in California.
