Unusual exotics are nothing new to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, but French automaker Peugeot is offering the chance for someone to take a ride in its Onyx concept car.
First presented during the 2012 Paris Motor Show, Peugeot’s Onyx concept uses a 3.7-liter V8 diesel-electric hybrid powertrain and offers 600 hp. That’s the same engine found in the 908 Le Mans car.
The car uses a carbon fiber shell and features copper panels on the body. Despite being draped in metal, Pug’s exotic show car only weighs 2,425 lbs.
Its hybrid system recovers kinetic energy to deliver an extra 80 hp, which brings the power-to-weight ratio to a single horsepower for every two kilograms.
Contest entry is restricted to U.K. residents over 18 and is free to enter. The prize inludes a ride in the car during the Supercar class as well as two tickets to the event on Saturday, July 13.
