The Ford F-150 Tremor package was announced yesterday, and we had the opportunity to get up close and personal with the new sport-focused truck.
While it’s certainly not a replacement for the more track-focused F-150 Lightning pickup that used to be available from Ford, the Tremor certainly has an imposing appearance. The big black grille is the most noticeable part of the Tremor package, looking almost as intimidating as the grille on the Raptor off-roader. The flat black accents don’t stop there, as there are also unique black wheels and a special graphics package that mimics the look of the FX appearance package on other F-150s.
The Tremor is far more accommodating for street-usage with its regular cab and short bed, and a 4.10 rear-axle. But under the hood is the same popular EcoBoost V6 engine which makes 365-hp and 420 lb-ft of torque, performance credentials that will certainly help the Tremor make fans in the truck world.
Inside, the Tremor package has a unique and sport-infused interior. It’s the only regular cab truck with a flow-through center console, and sport bucket seats. There’s also black leather seats featuring alcantara inserts, and red-piping.
While there’s yet to be a pricetag associated to the niche pickup, we do have an extensive gallery of the 2014 F-150 Tremor below for yourviewing pleasure.
