The Honda Fit is long overdue for a redesign, and photos allegedly showing off the new 2014 Honda Fit hit the web today.
The photos come from a scan of what is apparently press photography for the new Fit, sold as the Jazz in other markets. It may look different than the car we get here in North America, as Japanese-spec cars usually get their own style.
Though at first glance these photos look like a next-generation Insight from the front, the dimensions are more fitting for the Fit, while the rear photo is a dead giveaway with the Fit emblem intact. According to the leaked source, the third-generation Honda Fit will debut in Japan in the final quarter of this calendar year, so a Tokyo Motor Show debut is likely.
The 2014 Honda Fit will be longer, feature more trunk space, and will incorporate the Japanese automaker’s “Magic Seats” technology.
