Porsche is readying a refreshed version of its Cayenne SUV and the car was just spied testing in Germany.
Given that this is a refresh, the car isn’t likely to adopt any particularly dramatic style changes. The most significant nips and tucks will see a revised front bumper and headlights along with slimmer tail lights. Small tweaks to the interior are also expected, and the car will come with new wheels.
More significantly, the Cayenne is also expected to adopt the same 3.0-liter biturbo V6 found in the Panamera. In that case it makes 420 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque while offering the car significant efficiency gains. Those numbers probably won’t stay quite the same given the different applications, but the engine would offer improved efficiency.
Porsche hasn’t made an official announcement about when the refreshed model will debut, but rumors suggest the car is due in late 2014 as a 2015 model.
