Maserati has released a set of photos showing off its new Ghibli in the Italian automaker’s exotic Blu Emozione finish.
The Ghibli made its world premiere at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show in April and will be offered in the U.S. with two different 3.0-liter V6 turbo motors. The base model will have 330 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque while the higher-end sedan will offer 410 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. Other markets will also be able to opt for a 3.0-liter V6 turbo-diesel engine with 275 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque.
Destined to compete with the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the Maserati Ghibli is shaping up to be a real winner for the Italian automaker. Pricing still hasn’t been officially announced for the Ghibli, but it is expected to be on the higher-end of the segment.
