Nissan has issued a recall for about 13,000 of its new 2014 Versa Note over issues involving seat, and undercarriage bolts.
Nissan says that the bolts used in the rear-seat back latch may not be strong enough, and can break in the event of a collision. Additionally, some of the bolts that connect the body to the undercarriage may not be tight enough, or in some rare cases may not have been installed at all. In the event of a collision, this will compromise the vehicles rear-end crash safety.

Nissan claims that no injuries or accidents have occurred as a result of these issues. Nissan dealers will inspect affected vehicles and fix or replace the bolts as they see fit.
