The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has arrived in Europe, but unfortunately, European automotive enthusiasts can’t get their hands on it just yet.
That’s because the new Stingray will undergo thorough testing as part of GM’s standard quality program, which is conducted on every new Chevy model before it goes on sale in Europe. Patrick Hermann, technical manager at Chevrolet Europe, will be spending the next couple of months getting comfortable with the Corvette Stingray, putting it through its paces on European roadways.
Hermann will be documenting his experiences with the American automaker’s sports car, which recently was confirmed to have 455 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The Stingray will go on sale in Europe in late 2013, and you can watch a video below of Hermann speaking about his first experiences with the next-generation Corvette below.
