The all-new Maserati Ghibli made its world premiere at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, marking the first time the Italian automaker will have two four-door sedans on sale at the same time.
The Ghibli is also the first Maserati production car to be offered with a diesel engine, a 3.0-liter V6 turbo-diesel with 275 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. Buyers can also opt for one of two 3.0-liter, turbocharged V6 engines with either 330 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque or 410 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque.
Built to compete against the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the Ghibli will be priced towards the higher-end of the luxury sedan market and will be available with either rear-wheel drive or Maserati’s Q4 all-wheel drive. The Italian automaker has just released a new set of photos detailing its new sedan, which you can view below in the mega gallery.
