The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro convertible will make its European debut at the upcoming 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The latest edition of the Camaro represents the most significant redesign the sports car has received since the introduction of the fifth-generation model as a concept in 2006. Boasting new and improved high-performance aerodynamics, the 2014 Camaro has more efficient cooling and stability at high speeds thanks to a modified front end with a wider lower grille and a narrower upper grille. The headlights and taillights are also more sleek while both the coupe and convertible models feature a spoiler with integrated antenna.
As before, the Camaro is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine with 432 horsepower and can be had with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Then there’s the new Camaro Z28 which features a 7.0-liter V8 engine developed in collaboration with Corvette Racing with an estimated 500 horsepower on tap. Both the coupe and the convertible variants will make their European debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
