A peek at the facelifted version of Lexus’ 2014 GX SUV leaked online, showing what to expect from the better-appointed version of Toyota’s Land Cruiser Prado.
Neither version of the truck sell in high volume, but the heavily off-road capable SUV soldiers forward in sales nonetheless. The current GX was introduced in 2009, which puts it in line for a facelift. As is the case with other models, the luxo-truck will also wear its brand’s spindle grille.
The front-end gets more defined touches along with a lower-looking front bumper with rectangular fog lights. The rear-end only gets mild changes to the bumper.
Expect the same 4.6-liter V8 to remain with 301 hp through a six-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels. The refreshed version is expected to be on sale in the U.S. later this year, so official details will probably be available soon.
