With the race cars being delivered in October, teams will have plenty of time to prepare and test ahead of the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the first race of the season. Powered by a Porsche flat-six, 4.0-liter engine, the 911 GT America has 470 horsepower and a six-speed sequential gearbox. In addition, it will feature a newly-developed braking system to improve endurance qualities compared to its predecessor.

Retail pricing on the 911 GT America is set at $269,000 not including shipping and parts packaging.
