New spy photos of an M3 are hinting that the latest in high-performance from BMW is close to production.
Hiding very little with camouflage, the next-generation M3 appears to be in production form, out and about testing in Europe. But just like its coupe counterpart, BMW hasn’t revealed any details as to what will lurk underneath the hood of its popular sports car model.

It is believed that the next M3 will be powered by a turbocharged, inline-six engine with upwards of 450 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. The German automaker is staying mum on the details, but expect the high-performance model to be several hundred pounds lighter than its standard 3 Series counterpart.
