Following in the footsteps of other automakers that are now offering discounts for their EVs, Toyota has discounted its RAV4 EV’s lease to $299 a month, for three years.
In addition, the Japanese automaker is offering a 60-month, no-interest loan for the crossover electric vehicle, which starts at $50,660 including an $860 destination fee. The offers will run through September 3 and are available only in the Los Angeles and San Francisco regions, which are the main markets for the RAV4 EV.

The electric RAV4 features an electric drive system and battery pack created by Tesla Motors. In normal driving, the RAV4 EV offers around 92 miles of range, or 113 miles in an extended mode. A full charge on the RAV4 EV takes roughly five to six hours and it can accelerate to 60 mph in as little as seven seconds.
