Hyundai and Mazda have announced programs to help the recent flood victims in Colorado.

Hyundai is offering a disaster relief credit to help drivers get back into a car. Those victims whose cars were damaged in the flooding are eligible to receive a $750 credit towards the purchase of any new Hyundai vehicle 2013 model year or newer.

Mazda announced two donations to support relief efforts for the disasters. A donation of $25,000 was made to American Red Cross Disaster Relief and $15,000 was donated to Humane Society of Boulder Valley on behalf of the Japanese automaker.

Though these are the only two automakers to have announced support for the Colorado flood victims, it is likely that more support will come.

“At this stressful time, the last thing flood victims should be concerned with is how they are going to replace their water-damaged or destroyed vehicles,” said Dave Zuchowski, executive vice president of national sales, Hyundai Motor America. “Hyundai is committed to helping those in need, and by offering this support program we are making it easier for victims to get not just back behind the wheel, but back on the road to recovery.”
