Maserati Orders Triple Thanks to New Models

On the verge of disappearing during the recession, Maserati’s new models are helping drive a surge in sales.

The Italian automaker saw its orders nearly triple compared to last year, with 17,000 vehicles ordered worldwide in the year to end-July. According to Maserati, the new Quattroporte was its biggest seller with China overtaking the U.S. as the automaker’s largest market for the sedan.
