A new compact crossover from Jeep dominated views this past week on AutoGuide.
The 2014 Jeep Cherokee receives a new nine-speed transmission along with two engine options, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 184 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque and a new 3.2-liter V6 making 271 hp and 239 lb-ft of torque.
Second on this week’s list is a luxury SUV, the 2014 Range Rover Sport Review. Getting its power from either a supercharged V6 or a supercharged V8, this Range Rover is perhaps the most capable off-road vehicle that is also ready to handle twisty roads with absolute confidence.
Nissan’s supercar killing GT-R makes the list this week in the third spot. A twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine that makes 545 hp and 463 lb-ft of torque rushes this Japanese sports car to 60 mph in less than three seconds.
Next up is a comparison of small cars, with the 2013 Chevy Sonic taking on the 2013 Hyundai Accent. Both offer small size and good looks, but one of these little cars offers superior value. Read the comparison to find out which one.
Lastly, the 2013 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman Review finishes up the list. A new eight-speed transmission transfers power in the Ram, which comes from either a 5.7-liter V8 or a 3.6-liter V6 making 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque.
