2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 Has a One Year Waiting List

Those interested in getting the Corvette Stingray Z51 could be in for a long delay, as the waiting list continues to grow.

The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51 adds an electronic limited slip differential, slotted brake rotors, a dry-sump oil system and more to make the American automaker’s sports car even more track ready. Currently, customers placing orders for the Z51-equipped Stingray could wait for as long as a year, with some even having to wait for the 2015 model year before getting their hands on one.

One year? My dealer say at least two – maybe ten if I wanted the one trimmed in cloud leopard skin. I told him to keep my 60k non-refundable deposit. By then, everything will be electric anyway, free with tax credits and no traffic because everyone will be using public transport….or driving a Tesla.
