The uber luxurious Rolls-Royce brand continues to see significant growth in Asia, despite a downturn in China’s mass luxury segment.
Rolls-Royce CEO, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, has recently concluded his tour of the region and observed strong growth in the Asia region. Müller-Ötvös paid a visit to the British automaker’s expanded showroom in Singapore and officiated a ceremony in Manila to celebrate the beginning of sales in the Philippines.
The brand’s confidence continues to grow in Japan thanks to a recent expansion into Osaka and a move to a significantly larger, premium space in Tokyo. The number of ultra-high net worth individuals has also grown by 11 percent. The automaker also continues to report strong third-quarter and year-to-date growth in China.
“I am delighted to report very pleasing growth across Asia,” said CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös. “Continuing success in existing markets and successfully executed entry into emerging territories forms a key part of our long-term sustainable growth plans.”
