2014 Hyundai Accent Adds More Standard Equipment, Features

The 2014 Hyundai Accent gets some subtle updates for the 2014 model year, adding new standard equipment and convenience features.

Now standard on the 2014 Accent are one-touch triple turn signals, sliding sun visors and driver’s blind spot mirror while the standard audio system has also been updated for improved voice recognition and button layout. Added to the five-door SE and four-door Premium Package models are new projector headlights with LED accents, a headlamp welcome/escort function, driver’s side auto-up window and tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel.

And for those looking to get a sportier driving experience from their five-door SE model, the Korean automaker is offering a B&M Racing short shifter as an option. The 2014 Hyundai Accent is powered by a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine with 138 hp and 123 lb-ft of torque. It gets an EPA-estimated 27 mpg in the city and up to 38 mpg on the highway.

Pricing on the 2014 Hyundai Accent was not announced.
