Chevrolet saw the largest decline in online buzz last month, dropping 16 percent, while Lexus saw the largest increase thanks to a meme on Tumblr referencing a Macklemore song lyric that mentions driving a Lexus.
The October Social Buzz Report from Phoenix Marketing International’s Automotive Practice also revealed that discussions of Quality and Price were strongest among BMW and Mercedes. As for fuel efficiency, BMW also headed that category while Chevrolet and Ford took second and third, respectively. Lastly, Mercedes and Ford were among the top when it came to online discussions about Performance.
