MINI Cooper Five-Door Hatch Spied Testing

Now that the new MINI Hardtop has been officially unveiled at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, expect plenty of new MINI Cooper variants to debut in the coming years.

AutoGuide‘s spy photographers have caught the new MINI Cooper five-door hatch testing and has even dropped some of its camouflage since we last saw it. Compared to the traditional three-door hatch, the five-door hatch has a more sloping roof line

It is expected that the MINI Cooper five-door hatch will share powerplants with the Clubman, which was also recently caught by AutoGuide‘s spy photographers. Those powerplants include a three-cylinder with 134 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque while the Cooper S will sport a four-cylinder engine with 189 hp and 207 lb-ft of torque.
