Ford’s Mustang pony car was the only domestic car to make this week’s list of most researched new cars on AutoGuide.com.
Ford will unveil its next generation Mustang on December 5 when most of the details on the much-anticipated pony car will become clear. But the remaining four vehicles that make up this week’s five most researched, the rest are from Germany and Japan. Audi’s Q5 compact crossover got attention, as did the less expensive Subaru Forester. Both offer fuel conscious options. The Forester comes with a continuously variable transmission that makes it a real gas sipper. Meanwhile, Audi offers both a diesel and hybrid version of the Q5, although they come at a heavy price premium in both cases.
