Over the past week, imports emerged as the most popular in AutoGuide.com’s new cars section.
Audi’s Q5 was the most popular, followed closely by the affordable 2014 Subaru Forester. The Q5 is available with configuration for both gasoline and diesel fuel. Subaru’s trucklet has been recognized as one of the safest in its class and has been one of the few to score top marks in the IIHS small overlap crash test.
Toyota’s new Corolla took third place this week wearing its stylish new sheet metal and boasting up to 42 mpg on the highway. While it isn’t quite that efficient, the 2014 Mazda6 comes close with up to 40 highway mpg when equipped with the company’s i-Eloop technology. Finally, another Mazda vehicle brought up the rear in fifth place: the 2014 CX-5. Offered with either a 2.0- or 2.5-liter four cylinder engine, the CX-5 is proving to be a winner for the brand with impressive capability and value.
