Chrysler has just announced that the SRT Viper GTS will receive a limited Anodized Carbon Special Edition model.
How limited? Only 50 units will be produced. The most obvious feature of the new package is the dark gray metallic matte exterior color that Chrysler says gives the Viper a more sinister look.
Other tweaks have been done to the exterior of the Viper as well including black vapor chrome “Rattler” wheels, a black GTS badge, a black exhaust bezel, an anodized carbon fuel filler door, orange brake calipers, carbon fiber brake ducts and a carbon fiber rear applique.
ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK; SO IS CARBON FIBER
Inside, the Viper also receives some attention like the Alcantara wrapped headliner, door bolsters and knee blockers. Orange accent stitching is added to the door trim, center console, instrument panel and bucket seats. Orange trims bits are also added to the door panel and instrument panel. Finally, the interior jack-o-lantern treatment is complete with carbon fiber accents added throughout the center stack, door panels and steering wheel.
Sadly, performance goes unchanged for this Viper which really isn’t that bad of news since the car already makes 640 hp from an 8.4 liter V10.
The limited production run of the Anodized Carbon Special Edition Package should begin in the new year.
