Along with a customizer that will allow potential buyers to see the Escalade in seven various colors, the American automaker has revealed additional details including what will come standard on the Escalade. We already know that the new SUV will be powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine with 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque mated to a six-speed automatic, but features standard to the base model include a hands-free tailgate, park assist, Magnetic Ride Control, 20-inch wheels, adaptive remote start and a rear-view camera.
On the Luxury trim model, buyers will get 22-inch wheels, a sunroof, Intellibeam headlights, color head-up display, power fold-and-tumble second row seating and a Driver Awareness Package that includes Safety Alert Seat, lane departure warning and forward collision alert.
The top-of-the-line Premium model gains a “Driver Assist” package that includes automatic braking, Automatic Collision Preparation and adaptive cruise control. In addition, the Premium trim benefits from rear-seat entertainment and subtle exterior touches such as illuminated door handles.
