The next generation Fit sub-compact will debut at the Detroit Auto Show early next year, Honda has announced.
In a release Honda says the 2015 Fit, “will showcase significant advancements designed to further extend Fit’s status as the benchmark vehicle in the subcompact-car class.”
In particular Honda aims to maintain ad build on the car’s fun-to-drive nature, flexible cargo capacity and spacious interior, while adding a more refined interior and new connected car technologies.
The third-generation Fit will also benefit from an all-new platform and an all-new powertrain.

One of the brand’s best selling cars globally, since its introduction it has sold 4.87 million units. Sold in 123 counties around the world and manufactured in 10 locations, the US-market fit will be assembled at a new facility in Celeya, Mexico.
The 2015 Fit will debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 13th.
