The Chinese-owned British automaker is building its first crossover to target the Chinese market and will come with a base-model 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 135 hp, that’s currently found in the MG5. Available as an option is a more powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 200 hp and 213 lb-ft of torque. The crossover will feature all-wheel drive and buyers can choose from either a manual or automatic transmission.

Other features of the crossover include a limited-slip rear differential and a height-adjustable hydraulic suspension that will allow the driver to raise the vehicle’s height. The model is expected to arrive dealerships in China by the fall of 2014 and will likely be added to MG’s lineup in England afterwards.
