Porsche has announced a special edition for its six-cylinder Cayenne model called the Platinum Edition.
The Platinum Edition Cayenne is also available on the Cayenne Diesel model, which features Platinum Silver Metallic details on the exterior, while the interior gets a two-tone treatment. Designed to increase comfort and safety as well, the Cayenne Platinum Editions sport Bi-Xenon headlights and Power Steering Plus in addition to the ParkAssist system at the front and rear as standard. The interior mirrors also feature the German automaker’s anti-dazzle feature, which eliminates the dazzle from traffic behind the vehicle.

As the name hints, the exterior sees its lateral and central air intakes grill fins, side window strips, rear spoiler lip and tailgate trim strip painted in Platinum Silver Metallic, offering a shimmering effect. The exterior look is completed with 19-inch Cayenne Design II wheels.
The six-cylinder Cayenne features 300 hp while the Cayenne Diesel is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine with 245 hp. Pricing was announced at €66,379 ($90,150) for the standard model while the diesel will start from €67,212 ($91,300).
The Platinum Edition Cayenne and Cayenne Diesel will be available for a limited time only.
