Volkswagen Tiguan Recalled for Lighting Fault

Volkswagen is recalling 62,155 of its Tiguan crossovers from the 2009 to 2011 model years because of a flaw with the exterior lighting.

According to documents from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a fuse holder might melt and compromise the vehicle’s exterior lighting. That number represents most of the Tiguans sold during those model years and Volkswagen says it will replace the fuse free of charge to owners. The replacements will be carried out through the brand’s U.S. dealer network and will begin this month.
