The Audi Allroad Shooting Brake concept has been officially revealed ahead of its 2014 Detroit Auto Show debut.
Sporting a plug-in hybrid powertrain, the Audi Allroad Shooting Brake packs 408 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque while weighing in at 3,527 lbs. The result is a crossover coupe that can accelerate to 60 mph from a standstill in 4.6 seconds while having a total driving range up to 509 miles. The gasoline engine powering the hybrid is a 2.0-liter TFSI powerplant with 292 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque while a pair of electric motors is used to help propel the car.

The show car will be presented in an Ice Blue finish and marks the first time the German automaker has combined the Allroad and e-tron languages together. Designed as a crossover concept that’s highly functional for recreational sports, Audi hopes the Allroad Shooting Brake will attract young, sporty and active people that will embrace its versatility and functionality.
