Depending on which state you live in, the plate or plates plastered to your vehicle might be little more than a slid color.
A new survey from CarInsurance.com looked at automotive I.D. tags from every state in the union and asked people to vote on which they liked most and least. Turns out, people think Wyoming’s cowboy riding a bucking horse looks the best. It was followed by Hawaii, Utah, Alabama and Oregon in that order.
The survey’s worst-ranking plates come from Virginia, Alaska, Michigan, Arkansas and Delaware. Most of the “disliked” plates are plain-looking with little more than a solid color. Arkansas shows a diamond and is the one exception to that in the bottom five.
Unfortunately, the survey didn’t take special edition plates like the Virginia into account.
