Elio Motors will be making an appearance at ShowStoppers at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show.
The automaker will show off its 84-mpg, three-wheel vehicle that is expected to hit the market at a price of $6,800. The Elio is powered by a 0.9-liter three-cylinder engine with just 55 hp but can provide up to 84 mpg on the highway and 49 mpg in the city.

Equipped with an eight-gallon tank, Elio is boasting that its three-wheel vehicle is capable of travelling up to 672 miles before having to fuel up. Of course the chances of you driving an entire tank strictly on the highway and at a rate of 84 mpg isn’t really feasible.
“Our ultra-high mileage appeals to consumers in addition to our aftermarket-friendly design and assortment of customizable options,” said Paul Elio, Founder and CEO for Elio Motors. “Showcasing the Elio at ShowStoppers is a wonderful opportunity to highlight how this vehicle can be personalized with a variety of electronics and we are excited to be a part of this internationally renowned event.”
