A new small car might be in the cards for Nissan North America as the brand will debut the Micra mini-car at the upcoming Montreal Auto Show.
Nissan has already been showing off the car around Canadian dealerships to see if there is interest, and the news of a Montreal debut would suggest that the car will now arrive in production form. The car seems like a shoe in for the Canadian market then, but what about the US?
Official word from Nissan is that a decision on North American availability has not been made yet. One of the biggest challenges facing the Micra in North America will be distancing it in price from the small Versa which Nissan sells for $12,800 including delivery when outfitted with a five-speed manual gearbox.
