The German automaker revealed its new Macan at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, as it continues to expand its model lineup to become more competitive in the global marketplace. Looking at more growth opportunities, Porsche is looking towards a 5 Series and E-Class competitor in a bid to chase increased sales volume.
Unfortunately, it won’t happen anytime soon especially considering that Porsche has just invested heavily into the new Macan and bringing it to market. The baby Panamera has often been rumored as the Pajun – Panamera Junior – and is believed to be considered for production but hasn’t officially received the green light. If it is to be approved however, sources expect it to be built on the Volkswagen Group’s next-generation MSB platform.
