The 2015 Volvo V60 Review had the most eyes on it this past week on AutoGuide.
This wagon is the first to offer Volvo’s new Drive-E engines. At launch there will only be a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder available, though it comes in two different flavors. There is the T5 which uses a turbocharger to make 240 hp, and then the T6 which uses both a supercharger and a turbocharger to make 302 hp.
The 2014 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T slots in the second spot on the list. Hyundai has installed a new engine this year, a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder thay makes 274 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy is officially rated at 21 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.
Jeep’s 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland shows up in the third position. The Grand Cherokee is offered with four different engines, a 3.6-liter V6, a 5.7-liter V8, a 6.2-liter V8 or a small 3.0-liter diesel. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard in every version of this vehicle.
Next up is the new BMW M235i. The car gets a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six with 320 hp and 330 lb-ft. Not only does this new small BMW sound great, it hits peak torque between 1,300 to 4,500 rpm.
Last this week, the 2014 Jaguar F-Type V8S. A 5.0-liter supercharged V8 makes 495 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, hooked up to an eight-speed automatic.
