Ford nearly swept the top five spots this week in AutoGuide.com’s most researched new cars list.
The Dearborn brand’s Fiesta and Focus were both popularly searched. Ford offers A diverse model range with both cars including sedans and hatchbacks. If you’re passionate about cars, the company offers ST versions of both cars that are making a splash in the hot hatch crowd.
But that wasn’t the only performance product people were looking at this week. The Mustang was also a popular pick. The 2014 model year is the last with a live rear axle for Ford’s pony car. It also marks the end of its modern-retro look.
Honda’s CR-V compact crossover is the only non-Ford product that made this week’s list. The car is offered in either front- or all-wheel drive configurations with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 185 hp.
Ford’s Escape, which competes directly with the CR-V, was also heavily researched this week. Both it and the CR-V range from around $23,000 to start and climb up to about $30,000 for the most expensive models.
