Top 10 Cars to Watch at the 2014 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction

10. James Gandolfini`s 1972 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible

It is not often the collector car community cares about muscle cars with replacement engines, but this 1972 Oldsmobile is different. Being an ultra-rare W29 442 Convertible model, the original 350 cubic inch Rocket V8 engine was pulled in 1977 and replaced.

What makes this car rare is the Hurst dashboard and gear shifter as well as the two tone interior. But what makes it something special is the fact it was once owned by the late, great actor James Gandolfini.

We think Tony Soprano would have approved.

more like ass money as Sue so aptly states, I expect less than half of that

  • al8apex

Apparently there were 4 of the Evo’s built …

Ass Monkey car won’t bring squat…even though it was properly repaired, nobody wants a ghetto’d out F40 with Fast and Furious headlights. Dennis will be lucky if he breaks even on that hoopty.

-F40 despite it wreck beginnings I am sure they will find the minor upgrades and color will make a unique find. Plus its pretty fast and I am sure Dennis will throw in a Gas Monkey T-shirt and picture with Richard / Arron

don’t care what nit picking anybody has about this car…it is definately BAD ASS!!!

Has anyone ever asked to see these Ferrari Certifcations? My understanding is that Ferrari removed the car from the service department within days of its arrival. Alot of claims going on without supporting proof.

Does anyone know what station is covering this i can find it on the guide anywhere??
