The 2015 BMW X3 has been officially revealed, getting a modest facelift and new powertrain options.
Up front, the new BMW X3 sports modified twin-circular headlights with LED headlights available as an option, a more eye-catching kidney grille, new front and rear bumpers along with exterior mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators.
The 2015 X3 will launch in spring 2014 with the X3 sDrive28i model starting from $39,325 while the xDrive28i with BMW intelligent all-wheel drive will have an MSRP of $40,725. The top-of-the-line X3 xDrive35i will start at $45,825 and the all-new diesel-equipped X3 xDrive28d will start at $42,825. All prices include destination.
Under the hood of the X3 xDrive28d is BMW’s 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo diesel four-cylinder engine with 180 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. The X3 sDrive28i features a standard gasoline 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with 240 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Finally, the X3 xDrive35i will pack a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque.
On the inside, the X3 benefits from new cupholders with a sliding cover for the center console, chrome applications and a center console with optional automatic climate control in high-gloss black-panel look.
