2015 Chevrolet Cruze Spied Inside Out

2015 Chevrolet Cruze Spied Inside Out

This isn’t the first time AutoGuide.com‘s spy photographers have caught the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze out testing, but it is the best look yet of the next-generation sedan.

Still sporting plenty of camouflage, though less than before, you can see the 2015 Cruze’s tail lights while the roofline has a sleeker, more coupe-like style to it. The front grille opening now looks larger and the headlights are more streamlined. It also appears that the door handles have been moved higher on the doors.

The 2015 Chevrolet Cruze will ride on the American automaker’s Delta chassis that will underpin several other vehicles including the next Volt, Equinox and Opel Astra, which could come to America as a Buick model. The production of the 2015 Cruze isn’t scheduled to start until the middle of 2014, so expect more details in the months to come.

The last thing this car needed was more sheet metal on the side. I know that’s not necessarily what happened, but if the door handles moved up, it probably did. Having rented one of these, given the amount of plastic that covers the inside of the doors, extending the glass would make it feel more premium than extending the plastic inside. It might look ok on the outside, but not inside. Before this car, I didn’t think I would care about interior materials.
