Originally believed to be called the SLC, the AMG GT will compete with the Porsche 911 in the marketplace and is being billed as a replacement for the SLS AMG, though it won’t be as pricey. Details on the sporty hatchback are light, but is expected to make its official debut later this year.
Rumor has it that a twin-turbo V8 will be found under the hood with power output ranging from 485 hp to 600 hp depending on the model. It is expected it to carry an MSRP around the $100,000 range.
