The original Bugatti Veyron concept will make a public trade show appearance for the first time since 1999.
The concept, which was originally unveiled at the 1999 Tokyo Motor Show, will be on display at Retromobile 2014 from February 5 to February 9 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The design study is called the EB 18/4 Veyron which ultimately lead to the production supercar we all know today.
According to the French automaker, the inspiration for the study was “Bugatti’s outstanding history of success in motorsport racing.” The Bugatti Veyron was launched in 2005 with the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport released five years later. In addition to displaying the original concept at Retromobile, Bugatti will have a display wall featuring the original configurations of the 300 Veyron coupes that have been sold.
