Porsche 919 Hybrid LMP1 Race Car Heads to Geneva

At this year’s Geneva Motor Show, Porsche will be putting its Global Motorsport program at the center of its stage, unveiling the 919 Hybrid LMP1 race car and the new 911 RSR.

The new Porsche 919 Hybrid will be competing in the LMP1 class for this year’s World Endurance Championship (WEC) series in addition to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The innovative LMP1 race car will be joined by the 911 RSR, which will be competing in the GT category for WEC.

The Macan S Diesel will also make its debut in Geneva sporting a 258-hp engine and a PDK transmission. Both the Macan S and Macan Turbo will also make their European debuts after having their global unveiling at last year’s LA Auto Show. Lastly, the 911 Targa will be making its European debut in Geneva.
